| The Bristol Elementary School Board is seeking input from the community to help direct the administration to propose a new budget for the 2015-2016 school year that aligns with what is important to you. We will be gathering information in two ways: First, we will be hosting a Community Forum on Monday, March 23 at 7pm in the BES cafeteria. In small groups, participants will respond to a series of questions developed by the Board. In addition, we will conduct an online survey for those unable to attend the Community Forum which will ask similar questions. This survey will be live from 3/24-3/27 and the link can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BES2016.
On March 30 at 5:30pm in the BES library, the Board will synthesize this information along with feedback from BES faculty and provide the administration with priorities that must be addressed in a new budget proposal. We hope to approve this budget at a meeting on April 6 at 5:30pm in the BES library. If approved, there will be an informational meeting for the public on April 13, followed by a vote to adopt the budget on April 14.
